Police searching for a missing schoolboy in Northern Ireland have discovered a body.
Noah Donohoe, 14, left his home in south Belfast on his bike at around 5.30pm on Sunday.
He was later seen cycling naked after dumping his clothes. It was thought he might have fallen off his bike.
But despite a huge search involving police and the public, there were no more confirmed sightings of him.
On Friday, Noah’s backpack and laptop were found. Police say they are looking into how the items came to be where they were discovered.
Supt Muir Clark, of the Police Service of Northern Ireland, said: “We do not believe that at this stage the current find is related to Noah going missing.”
His rucksack also contained a copy of the self-help book 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson. Specialist teams are examining the bag and its contents, police say.
It is unclear why Noah went to Shore Road in north Belfast.
Detectives announced on Saturday that the body, which they believe is Noah, was found at 9.45am.
A 26-year-old man arrested on Friday following a social media post about the boy has now been charged.
Officers say their enquiries are continuing.
